FUCKING HELL THIS TRAUMATIZED ME WHEN I WAS LIKE 6 I HAD NIGHTMARES FOR ABOUT A MONTH
OMFG I ALWAYS THOUGHT I WAS ALONE ON THIS. I COMBINED MY FEAR OF THE PENGUIN WITH MY FEAR OF PSYCHO (YES I WAS WATCHING THAT MOVIE REPETITIVELY WHEN I WAS LIKE 8 OR 9) SO I WOULD LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN WHENEVER I’D TAKE A SHOWER.
(which sounds really stupid now, that I was scared that a penguin would stab me when I was taking a shower, but he was REALLY scary)
That penguin is EVIL. When I was about 14 they put loads of different penguin statues that were painted by artists around my town (like the pigs in Bath) and I freaked out because they looked just like the Wallace & Gromit penguin. In my junior high yearbook each of us had to write what’s our most common sentence and mine was ‘the penguins are taking over the world’.
